July/August 2018 found Bill and I with Paul on a guided birding tour of Colombia, our tour company was multicolourbirdingcolombia.com run by Pablo Florez. During a month long tour we spent the first two weeks with guide Johnnier and driver Juan, we visited Central and Western Andes and the Mid Magdelania Area, the third week we took an internal flight to Santa Marta, here we were guided by Sebastion and driver Annible, here we visited Sierra Nevada Santa Marta Mountains and the Caribbean Coast, the final week we flew to Inirida Amazonia and spent the week guided by Pablo himself, this area was flooded due to high rainfall in previous weeks so we spent the week exploring the Amazon forest by boat. We had a fabulous month the tour was so well organised, the people and birds were fantastic and Colombia is a beautiful country.
